At Valley Oak Appraisal our objective is to provide high quality appraisals in certain areas of Butte County in a timely manner and to make our clients look good to their clients by conducting ourselves in a professional manner at all times. With over 25 years of appraisal experience we understand the appraiser's role in making the loan process a smooth transaction. Very simply, we know our stuff.

As the former owner of a large appraisal management firm Barbara has extensive experience dealing with a wide variety of properties, underwriters and processors. Serving as a board member and president of The California Association of Residential Lenders (CARL) Barbara formed lasting relationships with lenders and acquired a full understanding of the mortgage process. She also has established relationships with a network of appraisers throughout the state to assist with out of area appraisal needs. Barbara's resume has never been rejected by a lender. The majority of her client base has always originated from lender referrals. In the Bay Area she had a number of loyal clients, some for over 10 years.  A list of current  client references is available on request.

Barbara and the staff at Valley Oak Appraisal provide personal service. Calls are returned in a timely manner and borrowers are accomodated with appointments that are convenient for them. Appraisals are rarely conditioned but if an appraisal is conditioned it is given priority and taken care of immediately.  At Valley Oak Appraisal quality and service go hand in hand and our motto is "We Make You Look Good".
